軸組模型０１ 左手前が平屋、右奥が二階建ての木造軸組み構造です。柱と梁で骨組みが作られています。二階建ての屋根が段々になっているのが分かります。
Axis Model 01 The left front is a single-story wooden shaft structure, and the right back is a two-story wooden shaft structure. The frame is made of pillars and beams. You can see the two-story roof is terraced. |

軸組模型０２ 平屋は片流れ、奥は上り梁の勾配が少しづつ大きくなっています。

アプローチ 玄関引戸は、道路から少し奥に入ったところにあります。外壁は大判の窯業系の外壁材を濃いグレーに塗装しました。アプローチに沿って智頭杉の塀が作られました。
approach The front sliding door is located a short distance back from the road. The exterior walls were painted a large-format ceramic exterior material to a dark gray color. A fence of Chizu cedar was built along the approach. |

リビングダイニング ＬＤＫの床は黒く塗られています。ここは「椅子座」の空間です。本棚、柱、食器棚などは自然な木の色とされました。 テーブルの上には奥様が作られたこの家をモチーフにしたガラスの小物入れが乗っています。 奥行きのある敷地に作られた家の内部も、奥行きのある空間とされました。
living and dining room The floor of the LDK is painted black. This is a “chair seat” space. The bookcases, pillars and cupboards were painted in natural wood colors. On the table is a glass accessory case made by the wife in the motif of this house. The interior of the house, which was built on a deep lot, is also designed with depth. |

キッチン スチールとステンレスで作られました。食器棚と配膳用のカウンターは木製です。

本棚 建物の一面は本棚となっている。三尺間隔で立つ三寸の智頭杉の柱とその間の一寸五分の間柱に噛み込む形で落葉松三層パネルの本棚が設置されています。
bookcase One side of the building is a bookcase. A three-story panel of deciduous pine trees, is embedded in the three-inch pillars of the Chizu cedar standing three feet apart and the one-and-a-half inch pillars between them. A bookcase is installed. |

洗面所 洗面カウンターはスチールと人造大理石で作られ、手元に光を供給する窓を設置しました。メディシンキャビネットは三面鏡とされました。
bathroom The vanity counters were made of steel and artificial marble with a window to provide light at hand. The medicine cabinet was made with a three-sided mirror. |

浴室 外の景色を眺めながらの入浴は気持ち良いと思います。ここから外に出て洗濯物を干すことも出来ます。
bathroom I think it’s nice to bathe while looking at the scenery outside. You can also go outside to hang your laundry to dry from here. |

小上がり（板間） 奥行きのあるＬＤＫの突き当りは小上がりの板間となっており、外部デッキにつながっています。ここは黒い床の椅子座に対して、「床座」の生活の場所です（胡坐をかいたり、ごろごろと寝そべったり）。
Small room (board-room) At the end of the deep LDK is a small boardroom that leads to an outside deck. . This is a place of “floor sitting (sitting or lying down)” life as opposed to chair seats on the black floor. |

黒い螺旋階段 黒い床と小上がりの間に、２階への螺旋階段が設置されています。内部空間の中央付近にありますが、視線や動線の邪魔にならず、この家のインテリアの美しい要素となっています。
Black spiral staircase A spiral staircase to the second floor is set between the black floor and the small rise. It is located near the center of the interior space, but it does not interfere with the line of sight or the flow of traffic and is a beautiful part of the home’s interior It is an element. |

２階～１階 ２階～１階の空間全体の雰囲気の分かる写真です。吹抜けの壁際には本を取るためのキャッツウォークが設置されています（１階に光を届けるためにFRPグレーチングの床とされました）。

吹抜け 大きな吹抜けは、上部からの光を１階に届けるとともに、上下階の「つながり」を作ります。

柱と梁 三寸角の杉の柱と、勾配が順次変わる上り梁の織りなす空間。

バルコニー 庇の架けられたバルコニーの床は、智頭杉のスノコとされ、２階ホールと同じ方向に貼られました。

塀 アプローチ横の塀は智頭杉で作られました。亜鉛メッキされたスチールの支柱との組み合わせです。全く釘が見えない納まりとしました。
fence The fence next to the approach was made of Chizu cedar. It is a combination of galvanized steel posts. No nails are visible in the fence. |

玄関 玄関のたたきは１階床よりも盛り上がっています。狭さを感じさせず靴脱ぎの位置を示しています。
