下関の家 既存の樹木を囲むように、コの字型のコートハウスを折り曲げた平面形を持つ住宅です。

アプローチ 下関の家の入り口に近づきます。建物の正面の形も大切にデザインされました。
approach We approach the entrance to the house in Shimonoseki. The shape of the front of the building was also designed with great care. |

廊下 鈍角に配置された建物とこちらをつなぐ木製デッキ。廊下の床材はウォルナット。
corridor A wooden deck connects the building on the other side, which is placed at an obtuse angle. The flooring in the hallway is walnut. |

リビング 様々な大きさの窓から庭の石垣や緑が目に入ります。大小の吹抜けがリビングを二階とつなげたり、光を届けたりしています。
living room The garden’s stone walls and greenery are visible through windows of various sizes. Large and small vaulted ceilings connect the living room to the upstairs and bring light into the house. |

キッチン方向を見る０１ 敷地に生えていた樹木を囲むように建物が曲がっています。廊下との間の引戸には一部ガラスが嵌められました。

吹抜け 吹抜けより二階を見上げると、書斎の障子窓と廊下の手すりが見えます。リビングの壁には固定棚やカウンターが設置されています。
Atrium Looking upstairs from the atrium, you can see the shoji window in the study and the hallway railing of wood. The living room has fixed shelves and counters on the wall. |

階段室 階段を二階に向かいます。木製の高い壁のまわりを階段が巻いています。

洗面所 洗面所は手元に外光を採り入れ、キャビネットは三面鏡とされました。
bathroom The bathroom was designed to let outside light in at hand and the cabinets were designed with a three-sided mirror. |

個室 壁には珪藻土が塗られ、窓からの光が室内を優しく包みます。
private room The walls are coated with diatomaceous earth and the light from the windows gently envelops the room. |

表庭側外観 中央部にバルコニーやデッキがあり両翼に白い建物のある構成となっています。
